Kids Fishing Derby--The Council host a Fishing Derby each year for children ages 3 to 15 at Rensselaer Lake (Six Mile Reservoir). Prizes are awarded to boys and girls in three age categories for the largest fish caught.  An adult must accompany each child and all New York State fishing regulations must be observed. Easter, Christmas Parties--The Columbiettes sponsor theme based parties for our children for Easter and Christmas. There is no cost to attend these parties. Children and grandchildren of Knights and Columbiettes are welcome to attend.

 

Soccer Challenge--A Soccer Challenge is held annually at the North Colonie Soccer Complex on Boght Rd in Colonie. The Challenge is for boys and girls between the ages of 9-14. Prizes are awarded and winners move up to compete at the district, state and national levels. Volunteers are needed to help supervise the competition.
